Employers

Employers are the foundation to ensure that apprentices are gaining a wide range of life long skills in the workplace. It is very refreshing to hear views from organisation to understand their own requirements when hiring apprentices.

Organisations I visited they expect their apprentices to use their initiative and be willing to take responsibility for their own learning. Overall they are very supportive with the career aspects that that apprentices choose for themselves even if it is outside of the job role they hoping that they succeed in the future.

Employers vary in their learning approach some do require guidance as it is their first time hiring apprentices. It is essential to establish good relations to develop trust and their confidence with using a trainer providers' services in future.
