Technology has created a number of pathways in Education and has influenced the methods of delivery. Teachers and students can now access or deliver courses from any location and be accessible even from the comfort of your own home.
Resources have now improved where students and teachers can both enhance knowledge from any device rather than using a traditional laptop or pc, this is now aimed at devices that we mostly used such as iPad, touchscreens or even mobile phones.
Students are now becoming responsible for their learning and teachers are only there for support or mentorship. They are now setting their own action plans and guidelines in order to succeed and also taking an active part in the curriculum. They are now in involved in collaborating with others as courses are now offered online they are able to create blogs and complete projects at their own pace.
Opportunities has expanded to those with special needs ensuring that this is adaptable and accessible for all learning abilities. There are opportunities towards video conferencing and using educational gaming that will promote engagement activity continuously.
Overall teaching is stemming away from the traditional methods of chalk and talk and capturing on items of daily use as a key to encourage and promote education moving forward.
